The Faculty of Theology (Ushuluddin) was developed in pursuance to the MORA Regulation Number 56/1968 dated 28 March 1968 and is strengthened by MORA Regulation number 6 / 2006. 

The aim of the Faculty of Theology is to produce graduates with a competency of Islamic thought and philosophy. They are also expected to be Muslim thinkers, researchers, planners, and reformers of Islamic movement in Indonesia.
