The Faculty of Islamic Propagation and Communication was formulated in pursuance to the MORA Regulation Number 393 and 407/1997. According to the MORA Regulation number 6 / 2006 the name of The Faculty of Islamic Propagation changed into the Faculty of Islamic Propagation and Communication. 

The aim of The Faculty of Islamic Propagation and Communication is to produce graduates in The Faculty of Islamic Propagation and Communication who possess competency and professionalism in Islamic Guidance and Counseling, Islamic Propagation Management, Muslim Society Development, Journalistic Science, and Public Relation Science.
